Healing Schedule For Powder Brows

Day 1: Bold color, dramatic appearance, tender, slight bleeding. Slight discharge.

Day 2: Eyebrows look very dark and appears thicker in texture.

Day 3 - 4: Same as day 2 but a little lighter.

Day 5: Starting to itch. You may use a toothpick to "poke" at the skin to relieve itching.

Day 6-9: Flaky skin starts - peels from the outside edges first. Skin may be itchy and color looks patchy.

Day 10 - 13 : Color finishes flaking off. At this point, the color appears too light with missing spots. You may feel
it is too light and that your skin did not take the color well. Please be patient and color will even
out as the skin "mends" back together.

Day 14-21: Color and definition returns, hair-strokes start to reappear and even out.

Day 30: Healing is complete. All color is healed within the skin. Eyebrows should look very natural and soft.

Ombre Powder Brows After Care Instructions

Congratulations on your fabulous new power brows! To ensure optimal healing and color retention, please follow these aftercare instructions 7 to 10 days after the procedure:

  1. Immediate After Procedure (Every 1-2 Hours):

    • Gently wipe your brows using sterilized gauze (provided in the aftercare kit) with cooled water.

    • Removing any fluids will prevent the hardening of blood plasma/lymph, which lead to better color retention.

  2. Days 1-7: Washing Brows Daily (Morning and Night):

    • Begin by washing your hands thoroughly.

    • Gently cleanse your eyebrows each morning and night with baby shampoo and water.

    • Use your fingertips to softly rub the areas in a circular motion for 10 seconds.

    • Rinse with water, ensuring all soap is completely washed off.

    • Pat the area dry with a paper towel.

    • Your skin must air dry 5-10 minutes before moving to Step 3.

  3. Day 1-7: Moisturize

    • Apply a pin-point drop of aftercare ointment with a Q-lip and spread it across the area.
      • Do not over-apply the product. This will suffocate your skin and delay healing.
      • The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin.
      • Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo

    Do's and Don'ts:

    • DO NOT use cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants.

    • Use a very light touch while cleaning your brows.

    • Ensure thorough rinsing of the area.

    • Avoid over-applying the aftercare ointment, as this can suffocate your skin and delay healing.

    • The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin.

Please note that the instructions above diligently is crucial for proper healing and long-lasting results. If you have any concerns or questions, do not hesitate to text our Vancouver studio 206-210-6282 for assistance.
